Welcome from the Chief Executive
Thank you for your interest in applying to Danes Educational Trust for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Danes Educational Trust is a well-regarded multi-academy trust based in Hertfordshire. There are currently six primary schools, five secondary schools and a University TechnicalCollege (UTC) with a specialism aligned to the creative industries. A further secondary school from a neighbouring county is due to join the Trust in September 2025.
Our vision at Danes Educational Trust is to develop hubs of excellence comprising primary and secondary schools, focused around their local community. We equip our learners with the skills they need to become curious, creative and courageous and ensure that our school environments are places where their talents are nurtured, so that they become happy and confident 21st century global citizens. We have formed hubs of schools in east, central and west Hertfordshire which reflects our aim of all-through education.
The Trust central services team is based out of St Clement Danes School, Chorleywood, one mile from the M25, with excellent transport links to London. There is also a central services hub office located at Onslow St Audrey’s School, Hatfield.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they share our values, are highly motivated and that they are flexible in their approach.
